You should visit Tasmania right away because it is delicious

Asmania is probably my favorite new place in the world.
I like it better than other places. I prefer it to Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines or Slovenia. It’s really gorgeous.
Before I write down the details of my stay in Tasmania, I’d like to share some of my favorite photos during the week I spent on the island. I hope these photos can persuade you to visit it one day. It is really a wonderful place in the world.
We started from Hobart, which is the capital of Tasmania and also a comprehensive and beautiful city, which makes people feel happy about the major cities in Australia. I didn’t like Sydney or Melbourne, but I fell in love with Hobart in a few seconds. There are no tall glass skyscrapers here. On the contrary, the streets are lined with ancient Georgian buildings; The former warehouse and port buildings have been transformed into small restaurants, cafes and handicraft shops. The weather is very good. As someone told me repeatedly, it is a little strange for this city.
Although the temperature on the ground has risen sharply, breaking the record and triggering a forest fire, the situation is completely different when looking down at Hobart at the top of Wellington Mountain, which is 1200 meters high. I struggled to open the door against the strong wind, noticed that the thermometer in the car showed 1 degree Celsius, and then took a deep breath and ran to the viewing platform in shorts and T-shirt. Before surrendering to the cold air, I took only five photos and staggered back to the car in failure.

The next morning, we left Hobart for Picheno, and found that it took us twice as long as the expected two-hour drive to arrive. What is the reason? Because the scenery here is really beautiful. There is another desolate beach at every fork in the road. I want to stay on all the beaches.

Driving on a Tasmanian road trip

This is our first discovery.
Following a sign marked “beach” on the roadside, we didn’t have much hope for this detour, but we were shocked at our discovery. This is one of the best beaches I have ever seen. I can’t believe that Dave and I are the only two people on it.

When we arrived at Picheno, we found that we had nothing to do, so we decided to go to see the Picheno spray hole. This will be my first experience of the spray hole
In retrospect, I have experienced several “spray holes” since Picheno. Now I can say that this is the best one I have ever visited. The human-sized rocks around the hole mean that I can spend several hours sunbathing while watching the occasional spray of water on unsuspecting tourists. Fun.

The bush fire I mentioned earlier had been raging in Tasmania for a week before our arrival, which almost persuaded us to cancel our trip to the island. Some parts of the island have been closed, including Ficina National Park, which is the place I want to go most.
Surprisingly, the weather decided to cooperate with our plan, and it obviously cooled down after we arrived. On the day we arrived in Picheno, the Ficina National Park reopened. We couldn’t believe our luck.
I am extremely excited about exploring this national park. That is the place where the magnificent Jiubei Bay is located. It is the place I have wanted to go for many years. Even the fact that it takes two hours to walk to the scenic spot can’t dampen my interest.
Surprisingly, the hiking was more arduous than I expected, but the scenery was more worthwhile. Jiubei Bay is so beautiful.
Even though we stopped to take pictures every 4 seconds, we arrived at St. Helens a few hours in advance without checking in. Knowing that the beaches in Tasmania have not let us down, we went back to the car and drove along the coastline.
A few minutes later, we stumbled upon the Bay of Binalon.

I stayed in Tasmania for a week. I could have stayed longer. In the future, I plan to return and stay there for a few months. I didn’t expect to fall in love with this place so deeply. Tasmania is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited, with incredible scenery. However, most tourists to Australia choose to ignore it.
If you plan to travel to Australia, don’t be one of them.
Go to Tasmania.
Tourist attractions in Tasmania
Tasmania is an incredible island. It may be difficult to narrow the scope of visit. Here is an introduction to my favorite places.
Hobart. What a lovely city! Hobart is the perfect place to spend a few days visiting cafes and art galleries and eating delicious food near the port.
Cradle Hill. If you are not a hiker, you can jump the Cradle Mountain, but if you are keen on walking, it is worth going. The hiking here is very simple. Most of the routes are plank roads, but they are still spectacular.
East Coast. Choose to drive to the east coast instead of taking the inland route. There are many beautiful beaches on the east coast, and you won’t find anyone on them. Plan to spend three times the driving time predicted by your GPS and stop at all beaches. Every beach has its special features.
St. Helens. St. Helen has some incredible beaches. Binalong Bay is the star here, but after driving along the coastline for a few minutes, you will see some beautiful beaches that are rarely visited.
Ficina National Park. Try to spend at least two days here, exploring and hiking. Jiubei Bay is a place to go, especially if you have only one day.
